The hardest thing about looking for an apartment on Craigslist is suspending your prejudices against spelling errors.

WHAT KIND OF PERSON SPELLS QUIET AS QUITE? Oh. A person who I will pay lots of money to rent an apartment from. Carry on.

I have a hard time caring about apartment ads that don’t have a picture, or have pictures that they took on their crappy cell phone, at night in bad lighting, ten minutes before they posted the ad.

If you’re not going to take the time to make your place look like something I want to rent, then why do I want to rent it?

That and it just makes my search that much easier when I can just skip over the ads that don’t have pictures.

Also, love how broad everyone’s definitions of “downtown” (Toronto) are in these ads. Just because I can reach it on the subway line doesn’t mean it’s downtown, stop wasting my time by making me click on ads that end up being for places on Lawrence, or near the DVP, or in Bloor West.
